Energy Choices That Make Sense

We have implemented processes that

• Help us to increase energy efficiencies

• Lower our carbon footprint

To lower our energy consumption, we capture naturally produced bio-gas at our processing facilities and convert it into energy efficient gas.  This has the additional benefit of reducing our carbon footprint by removing air pollution and minimizing the use of more traditional energy resources.

We‘ve also integrated a water heat-exchange system that uses significantly less energy to heat the water used in our facility.  This preheating process reduces our reliance on conventional heating systems.

From our large scale initiatives to the use of fluorescent bulbs and automated shut-off mechanisms and timers, the steps we’re taking all come down to one goal – using less and giving back more.
